It is refreshing to see young people educating themselves and showing an interest in things that go beyond superficial celebrities and commercial media. In fact, I am extremely pleased to see the world as a whole come together to shine a light on just ONE of the many social injustices happening around the world. I just hope that this success from the Kony 2012 campaign will have a domino effect on the rest of the world and that we, as global citizens, will continue to stand together and show love and respect for one another. We can shape our future. There are strength in numbers and if we continue to work together we can make our voices heard and produce positive changes.

I really love reading about and watching 1950s science fiction cinema. I think this is the first essay assignment I will actually enjoy writing about.
